This year we have chosen to have an interactive morning with our members, which includes breakfast, a Q&A session with Brad Pelo (Executive Producer of The Chosen), and walking the set of the popular TV series The Chosen.

The "chosen set" refers to the large, permanent set for the TV series The Chosen, located at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, Texas. It is a replica of first-century Israel, featuring multiple biblical towns and structures like Capernaum, Jericho, and Jerusalem, which are used for filming about nine months of the year.

Location: The set is located at the Salvation Army's Camp Hoblitzelle, approximately 30 minutes outside of Dallas.

Built: It was built in 2022 and is the show's permanent home.

Features: The 2-acre set is designed to be versatile and includes replicas of various first-century locations and buildings.

First-century Jewish homes.

A cafe and butcher shop.

A governor's mansion.

A lake that can serve as the Sea of Galilee.

A Sanhedrin temple.

Filming schedule: The show films here for about nine months out of the year.
