Join us for lunch and learn from Karl Fails, COO of Sunoco LP since January 2019 where he is responsible for overall performance of the business across all segments, both financial and operational, and has direct control of midstream, refining, and trucking operations. He previously held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer from February 2018 to January 2019, and Executive Vice President - Supply & Trading from January 2017 to January 2018, and held various other leadership positions during his tenure at Sunoco. Prior to joining Sunoco in 2010, Karl served in various operations and engineering roles in the refining business for both Valero Energy and Exxon. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Math from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He and his wife, Jolene, have five children and are expecting their first grandchild. Their family loves all outdoor activities, especially skiing and attending BYU football games.
