Religious Freedom: A Bulwark of Liberty. The annual joint luncheon meeting of the J. Reuben Clark Society and the St. Thomas More Society will be held on May 20, 2026, at 12:00, at the Sterling Hotel, 1300 H Street, Sacramento, CA. CLE Credit of .75 hours will be available.

About This Event

Religious Freedom: A Bulwark of Liberty - Our speaker will be Judge Kent Jordan.   Judge Jordan was previously an appellate judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Prior to that, he was a District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.   Judge Jordan recently retired from the bench and is now serving as the president of the Philadelphia Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A buffet lunch is planned with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Lunch includes two gluten-free entrees, Rosemary Garlic Chicken and Roasted Beef, Rosemary Roasted potatoes, the choice of eight different salads, coffee, tea, and water.

Suggested parking is at the Memorial Garage, 14th and H Street, within walking distance.
