We will be touring the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank Farm to see how it has grown and impacted the community. Lunch will be provided with this event.
Brad Squires is a mission-driven business and community entrepreneur. He spent the first half of his career as a technology founder and executive, starting and growing a number of SaaS software companies. He has a knack for developing healthy organizational cultures by aligning mission and values into his teams.
Brad serves as the CEO for Social Venture Partners Sacramento which is building communities of generosity to strengthen nonprofits in the Greater Sacramento region. Brad is passionate about the nonprofit ecosystem and actively works to bring together key leaders and influencers to create partnerships, connection, and collaboration to address some of the region’s most difficult social challenges.
Brad also serves as Founder & CEO of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation, which seeks to build a more flourishing community. As a community entrepreneur, Brad led the effort to create the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank & Farm which supports over 35,000 people each year and grows over 15,000 pounds of organic vegetables on the farm next door. Brad has invested 15 years into strengthening and growing his community through a leadership role with the Chamber of Commerce, and by creating 8-10 different programs and organizations that address various social needs and bring the community together.
Brad and his wife Megan also operate a u-pick flower farm called Heirloom Acres Farm which provides a beautiful outdoor experience in the summer for thousands of people every year.
