He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with an MBA in Finance, emphasizing International Business.
He started his career with Texas Instruments (TI) in the Control Management Program (CMP) for select MBA recruits. He became a business controller for TI. With Norton Company, a subsidiary of Saint Gobain (Paris), he was Asia-Pacific finance manager in the Abrasives Division. With ASSA ABLOY (Stockholm) (the parent company of Sargent Lock and Yale Lock companies) he was finance manager in the Global Technologies Division.
He was chief financial officer of Laser Star Technologies (laser etching and welding machines), and then CFO of Contempo Card Company (packaging for the jewelry industry) and for five months was interim general manager in ShenZhen, China.
Now Walt is owner of Dragon Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), delivering packages for Amazon under contract. He is also expecting to launch Lotus Logistics in Q3 2022, company that will deliver for multiple retailers.
Walt has been married for 40 years. He has two daughters and seven grandchildren. He is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
