Paul Carlile is a Full Professor and has been serving as the Sr. Associate Dean for Innovation at the Questrom School of Business for the last 8 years. In that role he has created a number of Award winning and pathbreaking programs such as the MSMS Program, the Micromasters in Digital Innovation and Transformation with edX and now the Online MBA (OMBA) that has achieved quality@scale. Paul also ranks among the top 2% of research across all disciplines worldwide. His article on an "integrative framework" for managing knowledge across boundaries has been used to drive innovative outcomes across numerous organizations and many industries. Paul was also recently named to the Thinkers50 Radar 2022 list of management thinkers whose ideas, hard work and passions are making a real difference in the world. Paul holds a BA in Philosophy and Masters in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan. Prior to graduate school Paul helped start two technology companies.
