Dr. Felix K. Acquah is the Director of Corporate Finance and Assistant Corporate Controller at Oportun Financial Corporation, a San Francisco based financial services company. Dr. Acquah has served in various leadership roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Oportun, he served as Vice President of Finance at Citigroup, Inc. and Auction.com. Over the years, his focus included Finance, Controllership functions, Asset-Backed Securitization, and Capital Adequacy monitoring.

Dr. Acquah earned a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) in Chemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana. He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Dallas' Graduate School of Business. Additionally, he also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business Administration with Corporate Finance concentration from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
