About this event

Join us at 1:00 PM Mountain Time on June 17th as J.R. Tolver - SDSU grad, NFL player, entrepreneur - shares two to tap into the "least common denominators" of success.

As J.R. notes...

The NFL is made up of some of the most physically gifted humans on the planet. Matter of fact, the NFL is referred to as a "Size, Speed and Strength" league. If that's the case, then why are some of the greatest athletes in NFL History, not the biggest, fastest or strongest? As an active business owner since 2008, I've noticed that an NFL Player's true success components are very similar to the success components of entrepreneurs. Being a successful business owner, like being a successful NFL player boils down to 3 things:

- Vision

- Implementation

- Execution

J.R. Tolver graduated from San Diego State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Business. After graduation, J.R. was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2003 NFL Draft. His professional football career spanned 6 years with 5 different teams (Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Calgary Stampeders, Los Angeles Avengers). After retiring in 2008, J.R. became the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Sage Hill School, a small private school in Newport Beach, CA. A B2B entrepreneur at heart, J.R., has founded three B2B service companies since 2008, including an international recycling company in Panama City, Panama. Currently J.R. owns and operates a State Farm Agency in San Diego, CA.

J.R. is a married father of 3 and enjoys spending time with and vacationing with his young family.
