Ellen worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 5 years in Italy, France, and Germany. She was given the job in Frankfurt because she could speak most of the relevant European languages - she's fluent in 5 languages and can cheat in a few more.
It was in Frankfurt that she discovered her interest in Supply Chain Management, and the field that she has specialized in the most is Supplier Relationship Management. Ellen worked for Sony for 7 years and traveled to Asia about every other week and in between she had trips to South America and Europe. Normally she was the only woman and the youngest overall in a room full of men, so she learned a thing or two on how to navigate that landscape. After working for a British company in the health industry, she now works at a company which is a European IT Powerhouse in Sweden. Ellen was brought on board to start up a central Supplier Management Specialist function.
Ellen served for 9 years in the stake Relief Society and Young Women presidencies and is now the stake institute teacher. She also enjoys serving as a temple worker in the Copenhagen temple.
