About this event

The Sacramento Chapter of the BYU Management Society will be hosting incoming Sacramento Temple President, Terry Baggs on October 13, 2021 at 12:00 pm.  President Baggs will speak about his new calling and the changes it has made in his life.

President Terry Baggs is currently serving as President of the Sacramento Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His service began recently and will be for an estimated three years. Serving the patrons at the temple by providing instruction, performing weddings and other functions has been a highlight for Terry.

Terry grew up in Southern California and received a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree at UC Riverside. He spent his career in underwriting management and director positions in the insurance industry. He retired from USAA Insurance Company in 2007.

Terry served as a missionary in the France Paris Mission and came to love the French people. He met his wife, Mary, at the Institute of Religion at UC Riverside. They were married in the Los Angeles Temple and have 5 children and 17 grandchildren. They feel fortunate that all of their family members live in the greater Sacramento area.

Please join us as we hear from this new leader in the Sacramento region.
