About this event

7th Annual Moral and Ethical Leadership Conference

#GlobalEthicsDay - Join us and celebrate Global Ethics Day!

To further our mission to “promote moral and ethical leadership,” the Salt Lake Chapter of the BYU Management Society (BYUMS) held its inaugural Moral and Ethical Leadership Conference (MEL) in Salt Lake City, UT seven years ago. Drawing from business, government, and education leaders year after year, its purpose is to provide the inspiration, education, and connections that our attendees need to explore the role of morals and ethics in a globalized world.

We will hear from scholars on ethics (details below) and will have a giveaway of a signed Jersey from 3-time Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert as well as prizes including AirPods, an apple watch, and more!

*October 20th is also the the Carnegie Council's Global Ethics Day! Share highlights from the day, and tag #GlobalEthicsDay2021 Learn more here.*

By attending, we hope to support our local chapter's effort to "Grow Moral and Ethical Leadership Around the World". The BYU Management Society has 80+ chapters around the world and by participating in the Salt Lake chapter, you are a part of a greater network. You have the opportunity to:

  • Leverage your ability to influence reversing the decline of moral standards
  • Expand your sphere of influence and advance your leadership opportunities
  • Provide you with a means of developing and deepening relationship with others who share your values

Therefore, we seek to envision, create, and sustain an organizational structure that meets that need. We likewise seek to affiliate with individuals and institutions that can accelerate our ability to fulfill our vision. Additionally, our chapter provides student scholarships. Donations help us fund our scholarship efforts, pay it forward here. Thank you for your generosity and support of our student scholarships.
