Please join us for our March 2025 Luncheon featuring former Artistic Director and Head Coach of BYU's Cougarette Dance Team Jodi May Maxfield! Enjoy networking, delicious lunch, and an inspirational message on moral and ethical leadership in today's world. Networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will resume for another 15 minutes after the luncheon program.

Jodi May Maxfield is recently retired as the Artistic Director and Head Coach of the Brigham Young University Cougarette Dance Team where she coached the team for 30 years.
Jodi was most recently inducted into the National Dance Coaches (NDCA) Hall of Fame in 2020. Where she held a position as College Coaches President and Director of the Dance Coaches Mentoring Program.
As Coach of the BYU Cougarettes, her teams won 19 National Collegiate Dance Team titles (1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013x2, 2014, 2015x2, 2016, 2017 & 2019x2) including 6 grand championship titles, 6 Hip Hop titles, and 13 most innovative choreography awards.
She is also credited with contributing to the team’s 20th title, winning in Hip Hop in 2021.
Her teams have garnered international fame and a large social media following through their performances with BYU’s Mascot “Cosmo” and their memorable 2019 National Jazz championship routine, “Praying”.
Under Jodi’s direction, the Cougarettes have traveled internationally to China in 2019 & 1995 and to the Czech Republic to compete in the New Prague Dance Festival (NPDF) in 2017 & 2012 where they won the Grand Prix (best overall) in both 2012 & 2017.
Jodi also served as the Spirit Coordinator in Athletics, where she worked with & oversaw the cheer squad and team Cosmo from 2010-2016.
Jodi’s has served on the National Spirit Advisory Council, and the “In Motion” magazine advisory board. She was named as one of the nations “Outstanding Directors” in 2003 & 2004 and was featured as the Cover of Dance Teacher magazine in March 2013.
Jodi is a former BYU Cougarette herself (’76-’79), has been an adjudicator as well as a freelance choreographer.
Her next adventure will take her to Bristol, England where she and her husband will serve a full time mission beginning in early April.
Jodi is married to Scott Maxfield, has 3 married children and 7 amazing & perfect grandchildren.
