Gene currently has retired from retirement after serving two stay-at-home missions for the past 32 months. He is now the President of a small consulting firm providing leadership development training to three mid to small size privately owned enterprises and provides executive coaching to several independent clients in a Gig environment.
Gene currently has retired from retirement after serving two stay-at-home missions for the past 32 months. He is now the President of a small consulting firm providing leadership development training to three mid to small size privately owned enterprises and provides executive coaching to several independent clients in a Gig environment.
Gene retired (for a second time) in 2017 from GE where he was the program leader directing the strategic Learning and Development plan at GE Healthcare – Surgery at the Salt Lake City, Utah campus. While at GE he responsible for the overall training plan, content and delivery of leadership and professional development. He had additional responsibilities as HR Business Partner for the Supply Chain and Navigation client groups performing all HR generalist responsibilities.
Prior to joining GE Healthcare in July of 2007 Gene was the Master Facilitator of Executive Development and internal Organization Development Consultant for Sears Holdings Corp. He provided leadership training and development to senior and executive level management in a variety of formats including executive coaching, intact team skill enhancement, workshop sessions and custom consulting interventions. Gene is the founder of Focus - Team Performance Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in team dynamic and organizational effectiveness.
Gene and his wife, Marie, have been married for 53 years. They have 7 children and 23 grandchildren. Gene earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Weber State University and a Masters in Origination Development from American University in Washington DC.
