Kevin is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded company. He currently leads the R&D team in San Diego. Prior to joining Zentalis, he was a co-founder of Kalyra Pharmaceuticals and currently serves on the board of directors of Kalyra and as its Chief Scientific/Operations Officer. Prior, he was in Pfizer’s drug discovery research group in La Jolla as part of the Medicinal Chemistry Department. He specialized in multiple therapeutic areas including Oncology, Diabetes, Antivirals, and Ophthalmology. He is the inventor on multiple patents and an author of multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. 

Interesting Fact: Kevin sold precious metals from his late grandfather (Dr. Duane Brown) that were refined from eyeglass frames, circuit boards, and dental scraps to help kick-off Kalyra.
