BYU MS Scotland are hosting an in person workshop & networking event with Daryl Watson this September

The business world is evolving faster than ever. In order to survive and thrive, organisations need to be equipped with the right knowledge and tools.

Two widely used frameworks—VUCA and BANI—help make sense of the uncertainties and challenges in today’s dynamic environment.

In this BYU MS session, Daryl Watson will be joining us to explore these frameworks in more depth and discuss what they mean for your business.

About Daryl Watson

BA (Hons) Business Studies. Fellow of the Association of Coaching (AC), Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), and Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM)

Daryl is married to Monic, they have 3 grown up children, Kyle, Megan and Cristi and one newly born grandchild, Oscar.

Daryl has served in many capacities in the church, including Bishop of the Dunfermline Ward 1998 – 2005, Stake President of the Dundee Scotland Stake 2005 – 2014 and as the UK National Director of Public Affairs and Communications from 2015 – 2020.

Daryl and Monic also served as Mission Leaders in the Belgium Netherlands Mission from 2021 – 2024. 

Brother & Sister Watson now serve as Ordinance Workers in the Preston England Temple. He also currently serves as the Elders Quorum President in his home ward. In addition, since returning home from their mission in the summer of 2024, Daryl has re-established his management consultancy and has just finished writing a book on his many mission experiences and just submitted the manuscript to a few LDS publishers. He is hopeful that “A Teaspoon of Salt; Everyday Parallels to Gospel Truths” will in time be a welcome addition to LDS bookshelves the world over.
