About this event

Join us for our next Quarterly Leadership Lecture, where Brooks Holtom of Georgetown University will discuss "The Great Resignation".

The Great Resignation has taken many by surprise: Nearly two-thirds of U.S. workers are looking for a new job. But according to some HR and management studies, we probably could have predicted this would happen. Over decades, researchers have revealed turnover patterns that can explain why so many are quitting in droves right now. Employers looking to stop the exodus should pay attention: Much of the onus is on them to give workers better reasons to stay. So, what is behind these widespread thoughts of leaving and what can employers do? Join Professor Brooks Holtom from Georgetown University to discuss.

About the Forum: The Quarterly Leadership Lecture provides a forum for professionals across the Southeast to hear and discuss how they can show up as more moral and ethical leaders in their professions, at home, and their service to others. Lecture presenters are selected from leaders in business, government, education and the arts.

This free virtual event will be hosted on Zoom. Please pre-register using the link provided.
