Featuring Jennifer Walker Thomas, Co-Executive Director For Mormon Women for Ethical Government. This event is FREE and open to all, regardless of affiliation with BYU.

BYUMS’s Washington, D.C. chapter will be hosting its second young professional speaker series event of the year, continuing our mission of bringing different perspectives on moral and ethical leadership into an intimate setting. The young professionals speaker series follows Chatham house rules, is intentionally interactive, and is sometimes enriched by great food.

Speaker Bio:
Jennifer Walker Thomas is the co-executive director for MWEG. She has worked as part of the MWEG leadership team since 2018 and served as the first Chair of the MWEG boards. She received her bachelor’s degree in art history and Italian from Brigham Young University and went on to do graduate work in art history at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts. While living in New York City, she worked as a consultant for underperforming schools in the New York City public school system and after a move to Boston did major gift fundraising for Massachusetts General Hospital. Following the birth of her four boys, Jennifer became a full-time parent and has consistently volunteered in her community. She currently serves as an elected member of the town government in Belmont, Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and sons.
