Sharlee Mullins Glenn founded the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) in 2017. She is a founding member of the Everyone Belongs Project and sits on the external advisory board for Brigham Young University's Civic Engagement Program.Sharlee is a nationally-published, award-winning author of children's books. She also has published essays, short stories, poetry, criticism, and articles in periodicals such as Women's Studies, The Southern Literary Journal, and The New York Times.Sharlee graduated summa cum laude and with University Honors from Brigham Young University and then earned an MA and taught at BYU as adjunct faculty for many years. She lives in Pleasant Grove, Utah with her husband, James. They have five grown children and four perfect grandchildren. Besides reading and writing, Sharlee loves hiking, yoga and watching BBC period dramas.
