Recruiting and Working with Generation Z

Apr 27, 2022, 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Join us to discuss the skills, talents, and expectations of this generation Z (born since 1997), and how we can learn from them and mentor them.

About this event

Please join the Sacramento Chapter of the BYU Management Society for an intriguing discussion around the upcoming workforce - what drives them, what are their skills and talents, how can we actively recruit them, and train them to be the workers of the future.

A powerpoint presentation using Kahoot will be introduced that talks about the skills, talents and expectations of this generation, how we can mentor them and how they can mentor us. It encapsulates all that Gen Z will bring to the table.

The presentation will be presented by Sister Lauren Schwalger, who was the Vice President of the BYUMS BYU-Hawaii chapter. She received her mission call to the Sacramento, CA mission a few months after she gave this presentation to the BYU MS leaders in October 2021.  Her companion, Sister Seiloni Sanft, received her Nursing degree before she went on her mission. Both companions are symbolic of Gen Z- compassionate, energetic and intelligent.

Join us for a relevant and engaging conversation about our future workforce!
