Feather River Temple Journey

Nov 15, 2023, 8:00 – 9:00 PM

Robin Cook will share the story of the Feather River temple, including stories and miracles from the open house and dedication.

About this event

Robin Cook and her husband, Josh Cook love the temple. Together they served as the communication directors on the Feather River Temple Open House Committee. Robin says, this would be an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but at the rate at which they are announcing temples, it might not be. For Robin, this was an incredible opportunity, one filled with trials and miracles and I would happily do it all again!

Robin was born and raised in Gridley, CA and currently lives in Chico CA. She is serving as the Stake Young Women’s President, the Area Communications Co-Director, and a missionary assigned to the chaplaincy. She works for the church Seminary and Institutes and for District 4 Supervisor, Tod Kimmelshue. In addition, she was appointed by the last three governors as a Director on the Silver Dollar Fair Board, where she is starting her 17th year of service. Robin and JOsh have 5 kids and 5 grandkids.

She is excited to share with us the experiences she had at the Feather River Temple. Especially the stories about the land it is built on, the rich heritage of faith, the incredible community relationships, the diversity of the community that welcomed it, and the youth. It is a very unique and miraculous story.
