President Ned Telford and matron Karen Telford, from the Citrus Heights California Stake, were called as president and matron of the Sacramento California Temple in early 2024. Ned was born in Salt Lake City and graduated from UC Berkeley followed by a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge Law School. Ned was admitted to the bar in 1977. He worked at Porter Scott Law firm specializing in Products Liability Law and Construction Law. In 1998, he took over management responsibilities for Porter Scott until his retirement in 2006. Karen Telford was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Karen is a convert to the church and has worked as temple ordinance worker and Primary teacher, and stake Relief Society president, ward Young Women presidency counselor and ward Primary presidency counselor.
